Springs seems to finally be settling down, but 3 runs on 1 hit shouldn't happen for any pitcher

We need Jalin Davis and Alex Leach to get going at the plate, which I do believe they will.

Davis doesn't need to be our leadoff hitter. he doesn't get on base enough. 1-9 for the series now, i believe

1 for 10.
We need better control by our pitching. We have been behind in the count with nearly every hitter this weekend IF my memory serves me correctly.

Someone needs to tell our pitchers you can't get outs if you don't make them swing the bats. too many walks and HBP. Apps down 5-3 in bottom 8th with bases loaded and 1 out. Jones emptying the pen right now after every hitter it seems because we can't get anyone out

6 HBP today for App pitchers, but some were complete BS. Arkansas hitters are standing right on top of the plate and not making ANY attempt to move out of the way. Umps giving it to them too. Bush league

I believe by my count that is now 13 batters who have either been walked or hit by a pitch today for Arkansas. That is not going to win you many ball games. They scored 8 runs on 3 hits.

Our offense looks alright but shows signs of having a good year, the pitching will really need to step up their side for us.

Overall I am proud of the effort these kids showed this weekend, at least they did not lay down after Friday. We have some promise but we are going to need the pitching to improve which I am sure they will over the course of this season. GO DIAMOND APPS!

Arkansas teaches their players to crowd the plate and want HBP's.
