It’s baseball season! 1 more sleep! Who’s going to hickory for opening night? I expect some more pop from the bats this year with vets returning. Weekend rotation looks solid too.

Listening to Kermit's interview with Ware.

Tuthill out for the year. Kermit says they found out Tuthill essentially pitched all last season with a torn UCL, then he had Tommy John surgery.

According to the series notes, the starters are Xander (who has built his strength up), ECU transfer Bradley Wilson and JuCo transfer Ryan Sleeper.

And if anyone comes in here and says "well if you paid attention you would know," then you sound just as sneering as Ware does in that interview.

Yes. They are ASUN members. Their softball team scored their first D1 win against App earlier.

Apps sweep Queens this weekend to get off to a 3-0 start. Hopefully a good crowd today at AppState-Hickory campus.

Do the crawdads stream their games? Greensboro does not but I think Winston-Salem does, so it is hit and miss in the SALly. If Hickory streams the infrastructure could be in place for ESPN+ coverage in theory.
