They had a reliever go 5 and 2/3 struck out 9.
I knew we were iffy at the plate, but not that bad.
Hitting .275 entering conference play feels different than in years past.

Not sure we know how to play with a lead yet. Might take time to figure it out.

PC had to change pitchers, thankfully. From the 2nd through the 7th, we couldn’t get anything off the other guy. Struck out a lot.

I can’t pitch. Had my fastball timed at the YMCA in town two years ago at 59 mph, about the speed of a Livan Hernandez eephus pitch. I was 68 years old at the time.
