Just looked back at the previous posts on this thread and none of the 22-23 commits listed played and I don't remember even seeing them on the roster. Did all flip to other schools or get drafted?

This thread is all recruits/commits for this coming season. 2024 recruiting year for 2025 season. Not sure if that’s what you were asking or not.

I’m not sure where this goes, but apparently the Campbell Camels had 30 guys enter the portal after their coach left for Ohio State. That is essentially the whole team, if true.

I would think we might go after some of their talent, as they are a good program and have some good players. College baseball is now seeing the effect of the portal in a big way. Props to Kermit for being able to hold onto guys and selling them on what it means to be a Mountaineer!

That is correct, but 30!!! That’s absurd. Everyone was tied to the coach and not the school. Seems like that is becoming more and more of the norm.

I know that when a coach leaves all players can go into the portal immediately - however I don't know if the portal is open for all baseball currently

Nice work! Looks to be an athletic family based off his Ole Miss profile. Brother plays Basketball at Missouri State and mom/dad had a pretty good track record too.

Elon transfer incoming keeping the in-state recruiting ties. Good sized Infielder from Charlotte. High School teammate of Everette Harris. Has been showing nice pop in Summer League (wood bat) which is a good sign, along with some rangey athleticism at 3rd.
