Just what we needed. One of if not the best all around performances this season.

App will remain in 5th place as the teams we could have caught this weekend haven't lost yet. But now we're 2 losses ahead of 7th place and the play-in game with 6 to go.

App is 13-10-1 and ODU is 12-12, so next weekend in Norfolk is another one big. JMU, who is in 6th and a half game back, is about to beat Arkansas State and hosts Marshall next weekend before going to Troy.

Winning without 33 pitching this weekend is a big deal. Pitching staff performed better than their season stats today.

Beat overall performance of the season and it came against a good team. Not having midweek games the rest of the way should help take some pressure off the pitching staff. Just need Steensma back asap.
