I don’t see us celebrating a top six finish in any other sport. Ok maybe other than golf ….
Queens record is 6-35 :?
And just lost 25-0 to Winthrop…

Good news is the pitching held up. Gotta steal 1 this weekend. Maybe CC comes in over confident.

If we win at least one this weekend and win both remaining series (maybe sneak a sweep of one), we should be comfortable for SBC tournament time

For the SBC tournament, we really need to be in winners bracket given our lack of pitching...

Yea maybe. The saving grace is that while CC pitching gives up about 1 less run a game better than USM pitching (great), they don’t hit as well either… about .20 less on team ba and we have about 19 more extra base hits then they do.. course you have to make contact to get extra base hits.

Our team BA dropped from .304 before USM to .287 now. We are now getting outhit by opponents. Crazy what a 6 game losing swing can do in the wrong direction.

Licht, while hitting .430 was not sustainable is down to .364 (still impressive) but that dropped fast in about 2 weeks.

4-3 on the night. The I-35 Rivalry lived up to the hype but the Bobcats fall to the Roadrunners. Our ranked teams all looked good. Could we have two Regional host this year?!?

Marshall scored a big upset last night! Just 2-2 for the conference overall on Wednesday night though.

ETSU leads nation in homers...we didnt give up any to them- got smoked.
Southern Miss scores a ton, we didnt give up more than 3 in any inning. Still got swept.

Can't stand the silver lining excuse stuff...no excuses, go win.

Bats have to figure it out again. Pitching has been somewhat respectable recently.

We should have had a triple play! Dead ball call on batters interference though.

Our RPI took a dive. Not that it really matters at this point. Need a top six finish.
Old Warren has APP finishing any where from T-8 to 5th with the live tracking. Earlier today it had APP at 26-27 for the year now it switched to 27-26. 7-5 will get them a top 6 for sure. 8-4 (tall task) damn nears gets them near top 2 IMO. There isn't going to be an ALB. Gotta win the SBC.

It's gonna be an interesting ride.
Warren might have been right with us losing 9 in a row. What a prediction if so. Bad time to go ice cold.

It’s very cut and dry this year. They beat the teams that were on their level but not good enough to beat the better teams this year.

Not sure we even beat teams on our level. Haven’t beaten 1 good team. And lost to some real bad ones.

They navigated the transfer portal well the first few years it was open. It’s gonna be difficult to get that kind of quality position players they were able to at the beginning because of the ever-changing landscape. I don’t think they’ll ever be a time where they don’t get enough talent to at least be able to hit with a lot of teams, but they surely loaded at the beginning
