How many App fans vs Wake Forest fans were in attendance and was this considered an App home game? On the radio call it sounded like it was a good App crowd. App website says it was free admission.

Wake home game; crowd seemed even; free admission. Game was sponsored by American Legion World Series Committee (Shelby is host for the tournament) to honor one of their founders who played football and baseball for Wake.

Was at the game last night. We outplayed them in a number of innings, but the mistakes pilled up quickly in the 5th. Tuthill just didn't have it last night. LaSpaluto nearly had the swinging K just before the GS, but the first base ump calls ball four. That ump was involved in three critical calls and all three went against us. It's an ACC crew with no video review to keep them honest so basically what we would expect there. A lot of of good to take away from it. Our guys know they could have easily won had we not given them too many extra chances. Our offense can produce against anyone.

Does anyone know why we don’t have “listening” options for games this season, unless the opposing team does? Am I recalling incorrectly that our baseball games were broadcast on appstatesports and the Varsity Network at least last season? Our website sometimes gives an audio button, but, if I click on it, the latest broadcast is the Cure Bowl (on demand), with no live games to be found.

That was a message throw. It was already in the scouting report but that was to confirm it.

Is there not a rule in college ball that limits how many times a pitcher can throw to 1st during each AB?
