Throwing a guy with 5 career innings in a high leverage situation is certainly a decision….
Do we want to win or are we just throwing guys to throw them? Throw your best arms!

We used Everett, Beaty and Smith yesterday after the score got to 9-1. I fail to see how that is burning your best pitchers.

I’d like to have Everett today but he hasn’t been a world beater.

LaSpaluto too but I guess that was when it was 5-1.
Tramontana LaSpaluto Harris Lewis all should have been available today. Seeing Fisher before Little Tramontana Lewis is odd.

5-1 in the 3rd. Now 12-5. Given up 11 unanswered. Pitiful. Think we know our fate now, was hoping this series got us back in the thick of it. Have to win SBC tourney to advance.

We're just not a baseball destination for talented players (especially pitchers.) They want warmer weather and I really don't blame them.

I think we’ve got some pretty good talent and had it last year. Definitely more at the plate though. Our offense is near the top in a lot of categories. Pitching is near the bottom.
I’ll give some grace as we’ve been without Brooks all year and Zang (Missouri decommit, no clue if he would have been good or not). Also have been out Xureb all year, Moronta for some of it. That’s an excuse though, everyone has injuries but a couple of those are key injuries. Have to find a way to consistently win and we aren’t doing it at the moment.

2nd to 11th is only 3 GB. Need a sweep v Ark State this week and we’re back in it. Still have South Alabama as well, must win those.
