No. There is a difference. Check other top 25 schedules.... Not as difficult as ours. This isn't "challenging" as much as it is being foolish. Building confidence both individually and as a team is critical. Go back and look at the schedule for 2011–12.mtnjax wrote:I guess some here want us to play crappy teams and get a lot of wins and then when conference rolls around and we play good teams, we get spanked.
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I think most would prefer these games vs. top 25 programs to be spaced out throughout the season not eliminated.

We cannot dictate when we will and won't play top teams. Any time we can get the best schools on the schedule we take them. We will play anybody anytime and anyplace. Players want to play against the best and don't care.....and that is what attracts talent. There is nothing foolish about our schedule. It is a reality of paying dues to build a better program.

Good players want to go to winning programs. Winning attracts talent, including wins against the best teams. Starting 0-11 against the best teams does not attract talent. The debate isn't about whether or not to play these games... It's about when and how often.Rekdiver wrote:We cannot dictate when we will and won't play top teams. Everyone keeps saying 0-11. Do you guys really think we're gonna lose to Youngstown St. next weekend? and I don't think MIchigan or ND are of the same caliber as these first 4 teams we're playing (3 top 25, 2 of which are top 15)
