I have to say that after the exodus of talent last year, I was not very hopeful. 30 wins is very impressive, Kermit is doing very good things. I have been disappointed at times but I really think we need to give him an extension. He's earned it this year in my eyes.

We officially will play at least two baseball games in Montgomery and start on Wednesday.

That was a major goal and now it's there. Now to win one more to wrap up Top 4 and be the home team on Wednesday.

All finals now. Southern Miss and Coastal are tied for first at 20-8. Funny enough, the tiebreaker is record vs 3rd place App State, so Coastal remains the No. 1 seed. App can't go any higher in the standings at 17-11.

Troy is a game back in 4th at 16-12, but we got head-to-head tiebreaker so it's more like 1+ games back.

USA and Louisiana are both two games back at 15-13. An App win tomorrow or losses by both gulf teams guarantees fourth place.

One more win and I think we're locked into the No. 3 seed.

A 3rd place finish would be an incredible accomplishment for our program. A new contract needs to be waiting on them when they get home from Atlanta.
