That streak of decisions was baffling for sure. Not that it matters, but it’s unfortunate that Wilson’s ERA will look inflated as heck tomorrow.

The only thing I can think of is that KS really thought they had a chance because the got to the pen if they limited them there but the wheels fell off quickly.

Nice thing is there's 2 more. Should be some fireworks due to pitching concerns on both parts. Bats need to stay warm

Cross pitched a decent game. There were some other hits, 3 that hurt the most it seemed. 2 hard hits by 6 and one by 12. The first hit by 6 was not a terrible pitche.. The last 2 to 12 and 6 , respectively, were right in the zone . 12 hitting like .460 is going to drive that all day long. I think he just ran out of gas by the 7th I think it was.

Yup he pitched a really good game. Like you said - he started running out of gas a bit and pitch count was at 90 but I feel he was probably still the best option they had rather than go to the pen.
