We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Amazing what pitching can do. Great complete game shut out. That’s a rarity in today’s game.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
Have to wonder if pitching in warmer weather has impacted the mound performance this weekend.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
There was some chatter today that guys were 2-3 MPH faster at sea level than in HKY/Boone. Could just be the trackman/gun CofC has. I couldn’t really tell but the gun/radar seemed to be true today, but yesterday the gun seemed a bit off. CofC had a sidearm guy with a FB at 83 but a slider at 63…that slider looked more 70ish than 63 to me.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
CofC has beaten both Stink and Beach chickens in mid-week games. They run-ruled Beach Chickens in 8 innings. So, a very good win.
Amazing what throwing strikes will do for you as long as not belt high down the middle of the plate.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
Storms should stay away long enough to get this one in. Cloudy mid 50s. Wind but not as much as yesterday.
Hope we saved some hits for today.
Let’s go get a great series W.

Dropped fly ball in left for us nets a run. They gave the guy a hit, home cooking.

Ump squeezing us a little. Harris gets out of a jam with a huge groundout and strikeout to end the 3rd.
3-2 Apps. Looking good today. We’ve got all our arms left in the pen.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
Pulled Harris early.
Pulled clark early.
Little in now. Hit, walk, walk.
Just because we have the pen doesn’t mean you need to use them.
4-4 bases loaded for CofC.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
Pulling guys too early, wrong guys coming in.
No reason to pull Harris at 61 and Clark at 21 pitches.

Harris Clark Best Lewis and Fisher were all available.
Yet we went Little and Barrazino after Harris Clark with a tie game.
10-4 now.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
Not sure what happened to Cody since last year. It's been a rough start to 2025 for him.
