Just saw in twitter that Marcello was drafted in the 17th rd by the Phillies. Congrats to him, even though I hate Philly
Also saw that Zack Littell, one of our incoming freshman was drafted in the 11th by the Mariners. Hopefully he still makes it up the mountain

Zack Littell almost certainly won't be at App next year. Good sign for the App program though when you start recruiting guys who pass up school for the draft.
The Mountaineers jumped on Zack early before the bigger schools heard about him and I was excited to see him in the SoCon (before App announced they were leaving) since UNCG never showed much interest until he had become a bigger name. Great kid who has worked incredibly hard and I have had the pleasure of watching him for a long time.
Congrats too on all the other guys getting drafted associated with App, Mountaineer baseball program is looking really good right now.

Coming into the draft I figured Marcello, Callaway, Zupcic, Nunn, Crespo, and Agnew-Wieland would be drafted. I would be shocked if we don't have at least 2 more and possibly up to 4 more taken. Let's just hope Agnew-Wieland and both HS picks taken will return and we should be pretty good next year.
