That's what I meant. They were all women's or just changing when I was at App.

Re: BB @ Raeford
Hopefully this was "just" a trap game and the team was tired from the trip to Louisiana and an emotional win. The Apps didn't seem to be up for this one and Radford took it to us. We're back in Boone for Texas State (excellent team) this weekend so we'll need to be very sharp for that series.

Maybe The Apps were burned out from all the travel. We play Radford again later this season in Boone, hopefully we'll see a totally different performance. Once again, there's no sugarcoating it, we really stunk it up yesterday.

I'm not going to fret about this one too much.
A number of ranked teams lost on Tuesday.

Call me odd or whatever, but, I take every game serious. I would like the think the coaching staff and team feels the same. But hey, that's just me.

Re: BB @ Raeford
Of course they take them seriously but once conference season rolls around mid-week games are used to work the pitching staff who aren't in the weekend rotation to keep them ready for relief work in the weekend series. Also less scouting. Not excuses but valid reasons for let-downs and upsets. Like someone mentioned A&T beat South Carolina yesterday, shut them out.WataugaMan wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 4:22 pmCall me odd or whatever, but, I take every game serious. I hear you, but, working the pitching staff doesn't explain the goose egg on the scoreboard. It's understood we will lose every now and then to "lesser" teams. However, it's the "way" we go about it, lethargic in nature.

Re: BB @ Raeford
It makes a huge difference what pitchers are used. If we went with a mid week starter who is our 3rd or 4th best and Radford went with their 2 it’s huge. Pitching matchups are often the key.

We have Radford again later this season, it should be interesting to see how things play out next time.
