I've been causally perusing Caneinsight.com this week and one App poster is trolling hard. EricSaid is on nearly every thread, a one-man Alamo of resistance. He's not scared of the Blue Lot or that body bag lyfe. Whoever you are, you have a lot of time and energy. Hats off to your dedication.

I was in Boone for ODU and i'll be in Boone Saturday. I went to high school where Eric Church went to high school. I went to ECU due to App State not having an Industrial Technology degree nor anything resembling Supply Chain Management which is what I currently work in with a popular aerospace manufacturer. I went to the Miami boards attempting to talk X's and O's but quickly learned that the fans on that board are generally more like NFL fans; they have no intention of talking X's and O's because they don't understand them.

I find it intriguing that it gets mentioned of the school I went to as if I can't be a fan. Generally speaking, most of the Miami fan's on that website have no affiliation with the University itself other than owning "Cane glasses" and maybe a jersey.

Most importantly, I really enjoy trolling folks on NFL boards because of course, everyone thinks they are the best. Miami has been irrelevant on the college football landscape for years now and as mentioned in the newest post on this fine website, their fan's have never lost that chip on their shoulder. I also enjoy trolling them for the simple fact that this is the last P5 team that App will face for some time that will actually be like the Ibis flock is.

So feel free to be offended by me, proud of the fact that someone will go "Buzz" (in an aeronautical way, such as buzzing the flight tower) the Ibis nest, or simply be indifferent. It is what it is and growing up going to App games against Furman, Presbyterian or driving up the mountain by myself on a Friday night while in high school to go see App play Wofford College, I never thought I'd get the opportunity to troll Miami fans.

You have to admit that most Ibis follower's on Cane in Site are troll worthy. I had a decent conversation with some while trolling others on the same thread and page actually. It's all in good fun until you see a video of "Unk" in his Cane glasses looking like if he had a gun he'd be a dangerous fellow.

It's more of a play on eric said. If i'm being honest, I need a new screen name to go with but it's been stuck on for a while now. I'm not sure why people would be offended that I go fight fire with fire on their boards. It's not like those who are offended can't go sweet talk with the Akron folks next week as there isn't going to be any trolling necessary; mostly good old fashioned football talk.

I was reading his stuff all week on CanesInsight and it was great. He was doing quite well against those fans that probably can't even spell "U". Kudos to you sir. And I may be a little long in the tooth but rest assured I shall have your back if you choose to visit the Blue Lot in 5 years.

I'd like to think that in the arguments related to football I was at least somewhat factual. I also gave a reasoning for Vegas favoring Miami by 3.5, getting 80% of the bets on Miami and not moving the line despite that to get even number (hint: they think App will actually win and are hedging their bets on the Apps as they keep all the money flowing to the Miami side), naturally I received no response from them.

I really appreciate the support though. I started to wonder if I was the only one capable of antagonizing the people of Cane in Site, I suppose simply reading is enough. Getting the "Cane glasses on" dude to post a video was a collective effort of Twitter, this site and Cane in Site i'm sure.

One thing I'm still not sure of, who at ESPN is picking App to win? They keep saying that the National Media is picking App but I really haven't seen much press on the game. Channel 84, College Sports Radio, spoke on the game for a bit but made no predictions.

One of their thug fans was challenging App fans to meet him and his 1000 friends in the blue lot. So based on intellect of the fan base, I am guessing the blue lot is code for the Hialeah Walmart parking lot.
