Big time opportunity on the mothership for App's program to make a statement. If we want respect, this is where it's earned.

Right after College Game Day. No complaints here. That's awesome. With that being said, we likely will get mentioned when they do the picks. Let's see what Kirk has to say.

I expect a thumb to the nose, snide remark, grin, and "Miami will win this game."
F*** that guy.

Probably something like, "Miami fans don't want to see a team like Appalayshun State on their schedule, and for them to be traveling to Boone is a complete insult", or "Miami will not be sleeping like Tennessee did, this could be a long day for Appalayshun State", etc.

What's herbstreit done to piss everyone off? I think he's very good in his role at Gameday.

Although the below is from a few years back, his "arrogance/disrespect" has changed little to none. In addition, after the good performance in week one, it was all about how poorly Tennessee played. Not one ounce of credit to the fact that maybe Appalayshun State just might be a very good team.

PS - One last thought on this herbie topic and I'm through. During last night's broadcast of the Tn/Vt game, App was mentioned roughly a couple of times. Each time the theme was "TN needs to play much better than they did last week", no respect toward App at all. Maybe I'm wrong, however, I'm hard pressed to think otherwise. Then again, to be completely honest, since that "damn Michigan win" we have done nothing once an opportunity has presented itself. This week is another opportunity for App to go out and earn some respect. Fellas, it's past time! Who's House?? Our House!! Go Apps!!

Don't forget he was also the one who first reported, and guaranteed it, that les Miles was leaving LSU for Michigan St. He's a complete blowhard ass. He's lazy as far as his in depth study of FBS football.

Herbie is a hack, but ESPN is putting us on the Uno next week. Clearly we're getting some national respect in the media.

Where have you been for the last 9 years? He's a tool.

Herbie is an unabashed supporter of the P5 and has a condescending dismissive attitude toward G5 and FCS. In summary Kirk is a prick.

I get you'd rather him pronounce Appalachian differently and you would rather him use a different school as an example but he didn't say anything that wasn't true. The blue bloods shouldn't be playing 1-AA/FCS schools.

ASU 's record in the Big House: 1-1
Cupcake's record in the Big House: 0-2
I loathe anything that comes from his mouth. He is nothing but a condescending has been who wants everyone to think his opinions are relevant. Corso is almost as bad. If he knows so much football why is he not coaching for a national championship?

Herbstreit's finest moment in Ann Arbor (11/23/1991).

He was probably faking it so he could effectively bench himself and end the humiliation.
