This would be a huge personal accomplishment which would boost his draft stock, as well as put Appalachian State even more on the map. These awards typically go to the top P5 rushers, and realistically would probably take Cox breaking Barry Sanders 28 year record for him to win this award. Very nice to see him on a list with some superstars, including Wyoming's RB Brian Hill (We won, but this dude was nice when they came to Boone). I feel confident Cox will keep his name on this watch list throughout the season. Football is getting closer.

Great thing about Cox is he won't mind if he's not as long as we're rushing for 250 yards a game. We have a stable of RBs.

Great guy! Class act. I feel he will get drafted as long as he has avg to decent year without injury. I would like to see him get more opportunity to showcase or improve receiving skills. If we are lucky barring injury and our stable of good backs it just keeps fresh legs and that can be good for Cox and his future in NFL. If he improves as a receiver and blocker his stock could really rise.
KICK ASS!!!
