Was reading an ESPN writer state when halftime began App players jogged into the locker room while the Ohio players, and I quote, "danced and pumped their fists." Any truth to that statement for those of you who were there?

It was true and classless. They taunted our fans while exiting the field. Glad we took it to them in the fourth quarter.

It wasn't the entire team, but it was a bunch of them. Dancing would have been fine, but taunting the crowd was a little over the line.

Yes it was one of the worst I have personally witnessed! It sure was satisfying to see our guys celebrating at the end with them devestated in the background

A few of their players were pointing towards the scoreboard as they walked off taunting. They were overreacting to one half of football, much like some posters here were during the game.

Classless. They weren't dancing and taunting after the second half though.

It was pathetic. Our team could see it as they were walking up the ramp to the locker room.

It was unreal. Their entire team ran to our sideline and participated from what I saw. I saw double birds. They mocked the throw the cash thing. I can't believe it didn't draw a flag. The only explaination I can fathom is that the refs had already left the field. An absolute disgrace. It helps me appreciate what a classy program we have at Appalachian.
We drowned them out with the most powerful ASU chant of the game, and we won, so l feel terrific about it today.
The Ohio fans I met were very nice. I wish them safe travels. The Ohio football team? I smile at the thought of those classless pricks crying on their miserable trip back to Ohio. You're the first team in history to lose a bowl game to a team in its first year of eligability. Eat ****.

I made sure to congratulate their players on their 'first half championship' after the game. Not my proudest moment, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Very true. I was right there and as others have said, it was quite class-less to put it politely. They were taunting the fans and the band, mocking the big arm motion whatever-you -call-it that our players do and pointing at the scoreboard. Especially infuriating were two bench-warmers who weren't even fully dressed out who really acted the fool. It was pretty bad, but many of us enjoyed returning the favor as they walk back off the field at the end of the game, which is the proper time for such celebrations.

The Ohio players celebrated everything positive that happened on the field all night so why should half time be different. They exited the field at the end of the game very quietly while the fans and players they taunted all night danced and celebrated....just as it should be.
I still have no voice at all today.

Their fans (what of them were left) in our hotel lobby this morning couldn't bring themselves to make eye contact.

The scene played out right below us. It was surreal. if they pulled that stunt with the wrong fan base, it could have gotten very ugly. It was so symbolic that this went down as our team had exited the field but could see what was going on. I can't help but think as they saw us chanting ASU, they knew that we hadn't given up the fight and neither should they. I took great satisfaction in repeating our chant as the losers left the field the second time. Karma indeed.

Our Section in R gave it back them as they walked out after the game, none of them even looked at us. We were yelling score board and pointing at it to them. It was poetic justice. Their players are classless, arrogant, and think they are way better than they really are....They got what they deserved. Especially #51. And yes our players (ASU) watched them taunt us as they left the field. Great ASU win and for any one that cares not one ASU fan left when it was 24-7 with 15 minutes to go....

This explains why, after kicking the game winning field goal, Matics glanced over at the Ohio bench while running and made the "shisssh motion" aka "shut up" with his finger. Good job Zach, love that final touch!! Watch the video, you'll see what I mean. Love it!!
