App State Fans in the Triad?
I desperately want to go to the Camellia Bowl, but just in case I can't do we have any Mountainers here from the triad who would be interested in tailgating w/me & watching it in Greensboro? Maybe Natty Greene's or Kickback Jack's?

The LKN Chapter is hosting a viewing party at Harvey's in Huntersville, if you're up for a road trip.

I have watched a couple games this year at World of Beer....a lot of TVs and great atmosphere. Most other places turned their nose up when I asked if they would show the app games this year.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the game this year. I would be interested in going to a place with other App fans to watch the game and socialize. One would think that Winston Salem would have a place to do this. Does anyone know of one?

I have always gone to Old WS Social Club for games. When the games are on ESPN3 they've let us plug in an Apple TV. We are headed down to the game otherwise I'd meet you there.ASU84 wrote:Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the game this year. Re: App State Fans in the Triad?
The last App Date email had a list of viewing parties. There is not a Triad party listed. Yet another shameless plug, but we're (LKN Alumni Chapter) hosting one at Harvey's in Huntersville. It's right off exit 23 of I-77 if you want to make the quick trip from Winston and watch the game with App folks!

Like I've mentioned before; the triad alumni association sucks. They have a breakfast occasionally, but nothing more.
Also, as I mentioned earlier World of Beer in Greensboro is a good place to watch the games. I've watched a couple there this season.

Agree. Last time I went to something it seemed more like a "How much money do you make?" thing.

Has anyone heard if there is going to be a formal gathering... or is this a " go alone with??"boonetown1 wrote:Like I've mentioned before; the triad alumni association sucks. They have a breakfast occasionally, but nothing more.
