Does anyone know where I can find an authentic football jersey similar to what the players wear?

Call up Nike and order one?

They don't even sell replicas in the bookstore like they used to

Probably won't be able to get a true authentic jersey.

Appstatesports.com shop has black nike replica #14 jerseys

I have the #14 from the bookstore but it is not anything close to what the players wear. I looked on the Nike website but did not see anything. I might call them Monday... Thanks everyone!

Maybe at some point they may auction some of the current jerseys or sell them at Fanfest next year. That's how I acquired the game worn jerseys I have acquired over the years. I too would like to add one of the current ones.

How much were the jerseys you bought if you do mind me asking?

The bookstore used to sell the authentic jerseys... they were $199.00. Haven't seen them there in a couple years though.

My game worn jersey was about $160.00. Sims wore it as a sophomore.

Most schools pulled back on selling jersey's when the last round of NCAA lawsuits occurred. The threat of player unions and EA Sports NCAA football game was discontinued. I forget when exactly it was, but it was difficult to claim the schools weren't profiting on the players and their likenesses when they were selling their jersey's in the on-campus bookstores. So instead of paying the student-athletes they quit selling jerseys and the NCAA cancelled their agreement with EA Sports.

I don't remember exactly. I got a Kenny Brown jersey from 07 for around $175, a grey "Always Attack" Critcher jersey for around $160 both on auction on App site and I have an older white jersey from 05 and a gold jersey from a couple of years ago and have no idea where I got them or what I paid and don't remember the players off the top of my head. I doubt I paid over the above prices for any of them. All are framed and in my office....visiting clients dig them here in Atlanta. Would like a Sunbelt App jersey (or one with a Camellia Bowl patch on it)

I did an Amazon search a few weeks ago and found a reseller with 2007 white and 2009 black game worn jerseys. The 07 white were listed @ $500 (presumably because that's the season and away jerseys worn in Michigan although there was no mention of these being THE Michigan game jerseys). The 09 black jerseys were $150. The players names had been removed.

My 07 jersey is a home black jersey so no Michigan turf on it. Just for the record, all jerseys obtained via official networks are with the names removed (to the best of my knowledge). I do have an old mesh practice jersey that has Satterfields name on the back but it wasn't a game jersey and is chopped off at the bottom and beaten to heck. I believe the conference patches are supposed to be removed as well as only one of my 4 that I have framed has the SoCon patch on the front. The oldest is Russell and the rest are Nike.

Some nice jerseys on there and $150 for the gold jerseys is pretty fair price. The 07 visitors jersey are a little steep as the Upset in the Big House lives on.....

I wonder if App could sell App jerseys with former player's names on them? I.e., #14 with Edwards or #7 with Satterfield/Williams/Cadet. I'm guessing they would have to give a portion of the proceeds to these players, but it's an option to bring back jersey sales.

The other thing I've wondered about is them selling NFL jerseys for former App players. We've bought several via NFL.com...could be another revenue source.

I believe that is Wayne Otto at Pro Am Sports on East King Street in Boone.
