As we all know, the university adopted the "Victory Yosef" logo back in November of 2013. However, I have noticed on social media outlets that the football team has used an older Yosef logo in some promotional images, and I like it a lot.

Does anyone know if this logo is making its way forward to replace "Victory Yosef" in the future, or if it's just being used limitedly in marketing?

App Football posted it on twitter. I've also noticed the same image in a recruiting image or two.

I don't think App owns the Victory Yosef logo do they? I thought they licensed it, which would be a great reason why they would/should want to create a new logo to use. I'm sure we pay a bundle in royalties each year.

Who owns it then? When you say they don't own but license it, you mean that someone else owns it but App has given its approval for its use on merchandise?

Has given App permission to use it you mean. I'm not 100% sure about that but I recall somethings along those lines.

That is the Yosef designed/owned by Mountaineer Mania store. It was very popular in 80's when The University was using that terrible side profile that had replaced Victory Yosef.
