Overtime Standard Operating Procedures
Ok App Nation. I know it's been about 24 years since an overtime game at the Rock, but we should refresh what to do in case it happens again since only about 10 people did the right thing as fans.
Once the end of the field the overtime action will occur has been decided, leave your seats on the far end of the field and pack it in where the action is. Since the visitor section and our end zone seating with our band are both on the north end, it would be safe to say that the north end will be chosen regardless of the coin toss.
The end zone seating should be packed with everyone standing and screaming as loud as possible while we're on D. So if you're in the student sections, shift down and saturate the end zone seating and that end of the field!

There was also Illinois State in 2012. I could barely watch the PAT in the first overtime on Saturday because of that memory.

I am fairly certain 1991 was the last triple overtime at KBS,according to DJ.AppUSMC wrote:I thought I heard David Jackson say 1991 was the last overtime at the Rock.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Re: Overtime Standard Operating Procedures
forget about when...........USMC is right. We should have packed the end zone. We talked about it and sat on our ass. Shame on us. If we go to OT again I'll be moving from 205 to the end zone.

OT sounded plenty loud on TV. The roar when we stopped the fake FG...

I too had a flashback to the thud of that blocked PAT.
