How far to New Orleans from nc

Take the Amtrak Crescent, that would be nice.

This wouldn't be bad. We'd be outnumbered 4:1 at least, but New Orleans would be my second choice in bowl game. I like ESPNs projection a little more though, with us against Syracuse in Orlando.

Orlando or New Orleans..Mobile or Montgomery... I will be there regardless. But of course the first two are preferred.

Wife has family in Metarie. Free place to stay, and all the Gumbo, Jambalaya, Po-Boys, Beignets, Cafe du Monde, snowballs, I can handle. Let it be so!

I hope to the good lord all mighty this never happens, I realize this is just me, but please no. If we ever do end up in the New Orleans Bowl, everyone go, it is a blast down there that time of year. Not nasty humidity, and so much to do.

I somehow missed that the opposing tie-in for that game is now CUSA instead of the MWC. I'm sure they would love to draw La. Tech.

That would be a very cool opportunity. Probably depends on ULL not being bowl eligible, or maybe being 6-6.

If the NO bowl gets LA Tech they will take the best team from the SBC not the one that will bring the most fans.

If ULL is eligible and LA Tech isn't in the NO bowl, they'll take ULL.

I don't know, it's a 76,000 seat stadium. It's not like having La. Tech there is going to sell it out.

However, bowls also don't like rematches, and I'm not sure ULL would relish another game with La. Tech after the whoopin's they got from them the past two years.
