We saw Collins and Simms leave the game with leg injuries. Does anyone have any reports?

Parker - feared worst. Got good news on Sunday. Listed as doubtful earlier today, but on Mountaineer talk tonight, Coach said day-to-day. My guess is, sit him Saturday & let him recoup so he is 100% the rest of the season.
Missed the update on Simms.

Sims left the game not McElfresh. I believe he may be lost for some time.

In case anyone else read that and felt their stomach drop - that would be Hunter Nunn.

Good catch. Forgot the H in front.

I meant Tee Sims. Did he blow out a knee or break an ankle. I couldn't tell but it didn't look good. And what happened to Upshaw?

I believe Sims has an Achilles injury.

"Lower Body" seems to be a pretty broad category. What does that include? Would that include unspecified leg injuries?

Yes. Teams started doing that a few years ago. They don't want to be too specific to allow opponents to target a known injury.

Yep. Trickle down from pro sports I believe. Every NHL injury is either "upper body" or "lower body," as far as I can tell.

Upshaw could put a damper on things, hope the freshman RBs can do well and hang on to the ball when needed.

While Upshaw would be missed greatly if he indeed misses the game, my concern in on the left side of the O-Line. With Collins doubtful and Harris questionable, can they effectively run the ball to the left? Need the backup Hog Mollies to step up and protect/create holes.

Is Fergerson back and complety healthy? I hate that Upshaw is injured, but hopefully they are being cautious and letting him heal. I have to think that Cox + Fergerson + the freshmen will be just fine. We are blessed at RB!

Agreed. We've got plenty of horses at RB. If Harris can't go, we're looking at starting a 260 lb. true freshman at LT.

Maybe it's just my oversight but it seems we seldom run to the left unless it involves trickery or a slow developing play. Wyoming had to have known what was coming on that first offensive series, yet it still only lasted one down. I was thinking wow, this might be another beat down, which it sort of was.

I'm not sure of percentage of runs to the left vs. right, however, from the games I've seen, it looks as if they favor running to the right. I've seen them move B. Nunn to the left side on a run left but it seems to telegraph the call. That being said, if you telegraph it and they cannot stop it, I'll take it.

Yeah it's frustrating that these reports have gotten much more vague. We're merely informed of whether an injury is north or south of the belt line, and we don't hear until midweek. If it weren't for the Cabin I wouldn't know a bit about whose hurt and how badly.

If there ever was a good defense to go against with a depleted OL this is it. They experience our 2's can get this week will come in handy down the road. We'll be fine at RB as well.
DE is starting to get a bit thin though.
