Big Ten new scheduling mandate

"the Big Ten will now officially lock out FCS opponents and ask members to schedule one game against another power conference opponent".

I wonder if other P5 conferences will follow their lead.

Saw that coming...

Not all members schedule an FCS every year. So I'm curious how this will affect G5 schools. Will the App States and Georgia Southerns of the world replace the Western Carolinas on schedules giving us more opportunity? I would have to think yes, as ADs will always have scheduling holes to fill and coaches will always want the "easy win".

That just reduced the supply so that means that pay day games will cost much more. It puts more leverage in the G5 hands.

Yep it seems this will help us. More games and higher payouts. Also better chance of home-and-home series with lower P5s
