I think remember hearing about Kidd Brewer being expanded or updated in 2018. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
I just want the track gone.

I don't think, at this point anything is for certain about when/if they will expand the stadium. Personally, I'm holding out hope that a deal can be made with the county for us to acquire the old high school property and move the track and field there. Rumor is about a year ago, the town approached us about some land we have, and the thought was maybe a deal could be struck, but, haven't heard anything else about that. I do know that if we wait too long, say more than 4 or 5 years to expand, we are going to fall behind the other SBC schools. I know we just finished the 200 million dollar fundraiser, and the economy is tough right now, but I would like the University, to atleast explore the idea, about setting up a fundraiser specially for expansion of the stadium, and lets see if we can raise 15-20 million in a 3-4 year period. Don't know if it would work, but, we have to raise the funds somehow, the expansion problem, and the track eyesore aren't going away.
