Elevate3333: Apps in the NFL
App has 11 former players heading to NFL camps compared to Georgia Southern's 5. Check out my blog to see where our guys stand before practice begins in late July.

Thanks for the post. Good info.
By the way, Andrew Peacock recently married one of our former volleyball players. Best wishes to the Peacocks as they begin their journey together.

They did, but the copy editor in me compels me to point out that it's spelled "fiancee." It's one of those words in the English language that is gender-specific.kiddbrewer wrote:They tailgated with us last year, didn't they? Yep, Charlie, I recall a few years ago, you had to point that out to me. The cause for me was something in the few French classes I took, differentiated somehow with the acute mark above the "e" rather than the difference in spelling.AppGrad78 wrote:They did, but the copy editor in me compels me to point out that it's spelled "fiancee." I need to file that info away. I'm sure I'll remember that next time.AppGrad78 wrote:They did, but the copy editor in me compels me to point out that it's spelled "fiancee." You can count on Charlie being spot on, after all, that's what he does for a living every day..and quite well as a matter of fact. The proof is in the fact that his paper has far fewer errors than even the Charlotte Observer.kiddbrewer wrote:I need to file that info away. Charlie is good. Almost as good as my wife (she works with him)NewApp wrote:You can count on Charlie being spot on, after all, that's what he does for a living every day..and quite well as a matter of fact.
