App State ranks 22nd among G5 schools, putting us ahead of Southern Miss, Texas State, Georgia Southern, Old Dominion, Western Kentucky and Charlotte. We're just short of attendance numbers exceeding Temple, Nevada, Arkansas State and Tulane.

The article gives much credit to the Sun Belt while belittling CUSA for going after markets rather than successful teams. That should be enough to give you a great deal of pride.

It's a great day to be a Mountaineer.

That gives us a list of future opponents to go far: ECU, Central or South Florida, Marsha, Middle Tennessee.
With their attendance figures they should have decent travel numbers as well.

I'd say it's VERY feasible for Appalachian to get into the top 10, and/ or the top 5.

Weather hurt us in 2014. I fully expect to break the top 10 this year.

2 Thursday games will hurt us in 2015.

The second Thursday game will. Georgia Southern is Georgia Southern though. We could have that game on Christmas morning and still get a solid crowd.

You're not kidding. Already ready to take the 22nd and 23rd off from work and will be staying in Boone partying all night after that win. Cannot wait. Bring it on gnatsboro! Go Apps!

I've already scheduled vacation time for both Thursday night games. I hope we do have a good turnout If our momentum continue, we might surprise some people for those games.

At least we'll get some TV money for those two games.

I guarantee you there will be people who attend one or both of those Thursday games who would not come out otherwise. People hear "ESPN" and they want to be part of it. Especially students.

Only question is whether the TV cameras bring out enough new fans to offset the regulars who can't make it on a weeknight.
