Coach Satt Weekly video

Unread post by sixtoes9134 » Tue Oct 14, 2014 2:13 pm

I thought it was a rather poignant statement he made in the DJ weekly interview.

"It's hard to win a football game, people remember that we won a lot of games in the mid 2000's. People forget though how 'close' many of those games were, we have to learn to win the close games."

Defense, red-zone and mistakes- that's where we are at and in that order.

Bobby Bowden once said there are four stages to building a program. Lose badly, lose close ones, win closes ones, and then win convincingly.

I like that. It's extremely tough right now, but patience and continued support is what we need. Stand behind the Men in Black and stand behind our coaches. It's fine to get angry and not settle for this. Having 10 different post about firing our coaches, does nothing but have a negative effect on the program. Players and RECRUITS read this boards, like it or not.

I'm assuming you read 3 and Out about Rich Rod? Great read

I have not but I will check it out. The situation at Michigan is looking very similiar to the one brewing here. Fan base impatient for winning instead of letting him get his players in the system to run his offense. He made some mistakes that landed him in trouble but do you think the mistakes came from the pressure to perform without the right tools? Now Hoke is going to get ousted because he couldn't win with RR's guys. And the merry go round continues.

I agree 94, but I have to say... Michigan can go winless 10 years and have a better recruiting machine than we will with multiple Ramen Noodle bowl wins.

Yup...pretty sure everyone knows that and never had thought otherwise.
