We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Grow A Pair

Unread post by Black Saturday » Mon Oct 13, 2014 2:01 pm

I've noticed an unusually large amount of NEW posters that are slingling mud on MMB. My thought is that some of us are hiding in the closet and creating new aliases to whine about losing, rather than post under your original handle.

Just notice how "young" many of the posters that are pushing agendas.

We didn't have this many "noobs" when we were winning.

What gives? You guys scared to tell the truth and harm your rep?

Hello - I have been around for a long time but not to this site I always did my post on Any Given Saturday but now since we have moved up I moved here for posts. Anyone who knows me calls me Skiddy so not hiding at all. If anyone needs to grow a pair it's Satterfield - own up to his inability!

Goodness!

I'd say with certainty that this much new interest in our program hasn't been generated by our recent performances.

Maybe we can have a "Gong Show" promotion and give out paper bags so everyone can attend as "The Unknown Comic". We could have "Gene, Gene Dancing Machine" as part of the halftime entertainment.

During the title years when everything was as close to perfect as it could be, there were threads bickering over the lack of cups with ice, the sound system, parking, traffic, the new turf, streakers, student tailgaters and much more.

Winning won't make the complainers go away. They'll just find new things to complain about.

I would much rather be able to complain about ice cups than a defense that only the backs of the jerseys are dirty!

Thanks for the chuckle. As one of the very few ladies on the board, I was imagining what I would do with all the money I'd get if I did actually "grow a pair".

Of course, I knew you weren't aiming your comment at me anyway since I post under the very clever alias of my real name (believe me, you can't make up a name like mine!). Most others are already hiding behind a screen name, so what's one more? It will be fun to watch these folks slip up and post under their original aliases and give themselves away :D

Beat me to it. I was going to tell Gonz that's a perfect view of him for the rest of us!!

There's a reason no one has seen many posts outside of Recruiting from me in the past few weeks and the OP pretty much covers it (name is well know to those that matter). I'm not reading the threads. Just marking them as read to get the Gold Yosef off the screen. Only reason I read this one was because it was started by BS. The bandwagon must be a lot lighter these days. I wouldn't know because I've never been on it. But I'm sure it will pick up the jumpers on it's way back by.

Grow A Pair!

This is what I was thinking the other day. Most of the crybabies probably aren't old enough to have experienced losing and mediocrity, it is part of the process. All programs experience it. We have, we are and we will again. Just as we will experience winning and success again.
