I'm still trying to figure out the 3rd down play call on our last possession. If we're going to kick the fg then why risk an option pitch and then have to kick from the right hash? If there is a coach out there that can explain I'm all ears.

I thought we would set it up in the middle. With our kicking game App should have really just run the offense and tried for the TD.

What happens if we didn't have the safety of going to OT? If we were down by 1 pt in that scenario. Do we still lean on the kicking game or run the offense which hadn't been stopped all night?

We had plenty of time to do so. It appears the only person that follows App State football that didnt know how horrible our kicking game is was our very own head freaking coach. He played for the field goal after the Mcelfresh catch.

My head's about to explode. How can a team have 600+ yards of offense, 2 100 yard rushers, nearly 400 yards passing and still lose, unless you're playing Oregon or Baylor. It is baffling.

FIRE HIM....I don't even want to talk about it.

Pack up his office, put a FOR SALE in his yard.

Sadly, i have to agree. He is clearly in over his head and not head coach material yet. He needs to go.

5 wins, all over terrible FCS teams in two years isn't App State nor should we be okay with it.

Pack him up.

Hard to believe he got an extension and a salary increase less than 2 weeks ago. Can't blame that on Cobb? Whose idea was that? How was it not more of a talking point than it was? This has been mismanaged by so many different people it's scary.

It was only the salary aspect, he didn't get an extension. His contract was adjusted to be inline with the SBC average.

Yep. Per the terms of his contract.

Satterfield needs to be let go or resign. He is simply not earning his salary by his performance, period.

Everyone who wants him gone...get out your checkbooks because it's gonna cost a ton of money we don't have. Keep venting, but the ultimate decision will be made with the university pocketbook.

Name the price.

We can put something together like Ole Miss did to pay for their goalposts and fines from the NCAA last week. You would be surprised what some motivation can do.

The respectable thing would be for him to resign or state that he will at the end of the year.
