We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: ASU- UTC Will be on GoASUTV
I was able to cancel, but does anyone know if we get DJ and Brownie with the video feed or if we have to listen to Moc guys?
Re: ASU- UTC Will be on GoASUTV
Am pretty sure David Jackson said it would be the UTC feed with their announcers. Normally I have a hard time getting the radio, or other ASU TV audio feed to synch up. Makes you have to work at understanding the game well with your senses telling you different things. May listen to Chatty announcers a little during the game if that is the case.

It's always worth trying having both the audio feed up and the video feed up, but turning sound down on video and see how close they are.

Re: ASU- UTC Will be on GoASUTV
Anybody else going to be seeing that rotating C in their sleep for the next month or so???
Re: ASU- UTC Will be on GoASUTV
Maybe it was my computer, but the whole game it seemed they would start a play and the next thing I saw was the players getting up from being hit. That and the revolving "C" and an ad or instant replay symbol.
Guess most did not have this problem or a lot of people would be complaining.

I finally starting hiding my eyes (as if watching a scary movie).. That thing played with you... I thought I was seeing figure skating pirouettes that never ended.. How about that announcer saying "Chittanooga"?firemoose wrote:Anybody else going to be seeing that rotating C in their sleep for the next month or so???

I missed my first Chattanooga game in awhile due to a business trip. Thus, I started watching the game on computer and gave up. All it seemed I got was the revolving C, the instant replay symbol, or the end of the play. I gave up and switched to audio. We scored the next 34 points while listening to DJ and Brownie! All was well.GoApps70 wrote:Maybe it was my computer, but the whole game it seemed they would start a play and the next thing I saw was the players getting up from being hit. Re: ASU- UTC Will be on GoASUTV
Anytime we get another school's feed we get the entire feed - video and audio. They just pipe it through GoASU. I am sure technology exists that could overlay each school's audio but as far as I am aware that is not done as of yet.sixtoes9134 wrote:I was able to cancel, but does anyone know if we get DJ and Brownie with the video feed or if we have to listen to Moc guys?
What I did yesterday was start up a web browser and logged into GoASU and started the video feed. Now that I have a faster internet connection I started a different browser and logged into GoASU again and started the audio feed for David J and Steve B. I muted the audio on the Mocs video feed. The audio is not entirely in sync, but close enough for most of the game. Had I stopped/restarted one feed or the other I might would have been able to sync both feeds better, but I did not bother.
Sometimes the out of syncness is due to some buffering on my end, and sometimes just due to all the parts of the internet which I have no control over. Generally the internet is behind the radio a little bit so I don't generally try that as an audio option while viewing video, but that is another option for away games that share the feed and the listener is in the coverage area of a radio station carrying the game.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

I had to check my checkbook this morning to make sure I didn't write a check to the Moc Club. I think they were trying to hypnotize us.YesAppCan wrote:I finally starting hiding my eyes (as if watching a scary movie).. That thing played with you... Re: ASU- UTC Will be on GoASUTV
The funniest thing about the Chatty announcers was near the end of the game when they were debating "who should go and do the post game interview with Huesman" as they mentioned him and volcano a couple of times in the same sentence.
They weren't bad and were pretty unbiased for the most part. When the DE for Chatty was called for roughing the passer and was complaining they said he should just shut up and walk away because "he did it". Also mentioned that a few offensive linemen might have been over the line of scrimage on UTC's touchdown pass (I thought the QB was past the line when he threw).
They weren't bad but certainly didn't bring the knowledge or excitement to the telecast that David and Brownie do.
And yes that spinning C about drove me crazy, although my feed worked pretty well via GoAsu.

Re: ASU- UTC Will be on GoASUTV
I listened to part of UTC's radio call today to see what they said and the postgame interveiws.
Wierd on their lack of excitment, its like they are UT fans that are calling a game between 2 teams they don't care about. They did seem unbiased and pretty good at calling a game, just if I was a UTC fan I'd want more. Guess I'm just use to DJ/Brownie.
