Will Call hours on Game Day.

A few questions:

I was given some primo seats to the Campbell game, but I had already purchased guest tickets on my daughter's student guest option. When I went to will call I was told she was supposed to be their in person with me. I told them she was one of the first in the stadium. They kindly gave me the tickets, which I in turn gave to a young guy that seemed fairly broke and was trying to get some tickets from someone selling, but selling at a high enough price this kid was not getting those tickets. So it all worked out in the end.

I am going to the game Saturday by myself. But again I am getting a ticket on her guest account. I don't plan to sit with my daughter as I want her to be with her friends, and I don't need to be in the middle of that. So I may not go into the stadium with her.

But when does the Box Office open before the game? Students were heading to the stadium around two or so for the Campbell game. This might be a moot point if I can print my ticket, but she does not have a printer in her dorm room I don't think.

With everything going on with JM Day I most likely will hang around in that area. Anyone want to host me for a bit of tailgating? I never tailgate myself as I enjoy walking around campus and such but I might just do something different.

I can't speak to the hours for Will Call. I will, however, invite you and your daughter to come by #76 in the stadium lot for tailgating. I've also got an extra ticket I can pass off to you (Sec 205, GGG - about 47 yard line in the gold seats) if you like.

WOW Daphne! How do I get to be a friend of yours? Just kidding, I have my season tickets in 205. But you seem to be such a class act I do hope to meet you someday. You are such a great ambassador for Appalachian State.!!

Thanks! I have truly fallen in love with Appalachian and enjoy helping others fall in love with Appalachian as well.

I've got three season tickets and there is just one of me. Usually, I have folks come with me or hand off my extra two to friends of our son and daughter-in-law. At some point our grandson will want to bring friends along. I've got to be in Boone at 8:30 this weekend for a Yosef meeting, so I won't be bringing anyone with me (unless they want to leave Asheville at 6:00  ) - hence, the extra tickets this week.

You're always welcome to join the tailgating crew. I never know how many I'm going to feed; there always seems to be plenty, though. This week's menu is sweet and sour meatballs (homemade :D ) and whatever else I decide to make. Come on by and say "howdy".

I am not too proud to say yes to this offer of a free ticket. That is very generous. I'll try and find someone for my ticket to and pay it forward to help get someone else in the stadium.

I'll see you Saturday. Is there a time I should be at your tailgate.

I am hoping to leave McLeansville around 8 or 9 and be in Boone around 10-11. Get something to eat with my daughter and I might take her over to Blowing Rock to the get a heavier winter coat. Last game she wanted to be back at her dorm to head over to KBS around 2 or 2:30. I am of course open after that time pending getting to the will call window.

Thanks again for the offer - I'll see you Saturday.

Excellent! I've got a Yosef meeting at 8:30. I'll pick up the last of the tailgate pieces after that, wander around a bit, and start cooking in the 1:30 range (food should be ready by 2:30). Any time after 1:30 is fine. I usually pack up about an hour before kickoff so I can get in to see the BOD and just enjoy KBS.

Feel free to stay and tailgate or just grab the ticket and hang out wherever you like. Lots of the kids who come by are just there for a few minutes to grab some food and a hug before going into the game.

Travel safely. See you Saturday.
