Am I the only one who would like to see the military parachutists return with bringing the game ball down to the field? They sure got standing ovations.

$37.50 per ticket ought to cover that. Are we that hard up for money? If we can change uniforms and helmets every week we should be able to afford the money it costs. It sure adds much to that heralded game day experience and helps support our troops. It means a lot to our veterans.

Before the game, I asked the same question and was told that the "Jumpers" we normally schedule, were already booked. Sounds like we tried to get them back but were unable to fit into their schedule. Lot's of fun watching them though!!!

It's very cool watching them. As for changing uniforms and helmets "every week," we're not doing that. Looks like we added some pants this season. As of now, it doesn't appear we'll have alternate unis this year and decals are quite cheap. With that said, I have no idea if there's money for the parachute jumpers or not, but everyone does enjoy that...great fun.

I was exaggerating for emphasis because last year we had the alternative uniforms I believe.

Interesting quote coming from the guy that frequently brings up the stadium expansion and related debt!

I'm not sure but I don't think the parachute drop would cost $50,000,000.00. Pardon the sarcasm. 50 cents added to each ticket for one game should cover the whole 6 home games. What's 50 cents when the ticket is already near $40.00?
However, it's a moot point if they are already scheduled, but if we could get our name in the pot for future years, it would be nice for our veterans.
