I was talking with a Campbell grad and asked him how much they were be paid to come up the mountain. He didn't know. Can anyone tell me the amount of the payday the Camels are receiving?

I heard the payout was $1M

My wife has a co-worker whose son plays for Campbell. He told me Campbell was getting $250k for the game.

Seems pretty steep for a non-scholarship team.

That's the world we live in now. We get more money from P5 teams to play them one and done and FCS teams get more money from us for a one and done.

We got 175k from ECU for the 2009 game. We basically begged them to play is and they had no other options. Then we turned around and paid McNeese about the same for that one and done to open the finished KBS. That didn't quite work out.

The number is $125,000 according to Tommy Bowman.

125K is more like it, 250 is ridiculous.

I'm assuming that 125K is in addition to travel expenses? If so, then I can live with that amount. If the number is 250k then it certainly better include travel expenses, as well as the territorial rights to shutter Campbell's Pharmacy and Law school programs and relocate them to Boone, under ASU's banner of course.
