Wouldn't be football season without the GAS countdown.

Big shout out to you!

I apologize if this is a stupid question...

Why is "1 Day" today and not tomorrow? Does that mean Saturday is -1 Day?

no prob

It's a long story of reasons relating to starting this 16 years ago and the technology of the time vs now.

But in short, I only count whole calendar days left before 1200 am of game day. By the time I post tomorrow there will only be hours left. :D

From my understanding is Friday is a day to not worry about the countdown but get the tailgating equipment ready and also travel if one needs a day for that.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Thanks GAS - it really seems to make the time go faster --- some time back my neighbor was saying he couldn't wait for college football to begin - I told him about your countdown and that we were at 79 days --- each time I would see him I would say "63 days", "50", "33", etc., until earlier this week when I said, "3 days, my friend" - and now it is here!!! --- thank you for doing this !!!
