Why on earth do they continue to do this?
Baseball needs the support and the Athletic department misses easy chances to get fans engaged.
It can’t be that hard to schedule this on a home baseball weekend around Easter and the Masters (which is only a scheduling excuse for Georgia/GT spring games)

April 11 v ULM or April 24th vs our rival Georgia Southern would have been fun!

Not casting blame on anyone but I wonder if this is caused by a lack of staffing for two events on the same day or if DLo picks his schedule.

Just a huge missed opportunity to raise money. Could do raffles, prizes and fundraising opportunities for both sports.

“Show up to baseball game, get a ticket punched, present it at the football game and get a team poster” or something vice versa.

Honestly, DLo could just be unaware of the baseball program in this new NIL era. Athletic teams felt more intertwined a decade+ ago.

Baseball doesn’t matter it seems.

Definitely an afterthought. As most are to football.

I want Kermit to win. But, if he doesn’t, our next coach should demand more money and publicity. Sooner or later, our athletics department should realize that baseball has the best odds to make postseason runs and deserves more money to equip them to do so.
