If they are transferring for a paycheck and a better opportunity, I get it. If they are just transferring to transfer in a similar role at a peer G5, then ef ‘em.

Remember when we couldn’t talk about players and how that was poor form. I miss those days.

Not on the team anymore but…

It will be very interesting to see how many guys choose to enter the portal this year. I know in the latter years of Clark's regime many would always predict that the players would jump ship because of being unhappy with the staff, but it never came to fruition. Curious if there is a mass exodus this year or if we can keep a core group.

Some are being encouraged to portal . Others we are re recruiting. You will know which is which when they announce. My feeling on a couple who are really good players is that if they don’t want to be in Boone we are better off without them.

Same here. If they don't want to be here then it is better they go for us and them. We want a happy locker room.

Agree. Some guys seem to think that football revolves around them. The game marches on with or without certain players. Those not happy in Boone move on, plenty will gladly take the spot.

Definition of portal era football. We barely know our guys. He played in every game a good amount.
