We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Preseason Projections
This is the 1st one I've seen and they're not thinking too highly of us, which can be understood.

An ODU guy sent this to me, and now I see it's from March, before Spring ball and portal, but still.

Athlon and Lindy's are out and they don't think highly of us either. Both have us rated in the 100s in FBS.BUTCH1991 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 10, 2025 7:45 amThis is the 1st one I've seen and they're not thinking too highly of us, which can be understood.

This was on Facebook.

With a new coaching staff and new QB coming off a 5-6 season, there isn't going to be many picking App State to do well this season.

I have no idea what UNCC has, they may not either, but 1-3 in the first four is just as likely as any outcome at this stage.

Re: Preseason Projections
Nobody knows anything about this team at this point. Heck, we don't even know who are going to be our starters. On paper, we picked up a lot of good talent but that talent was very thin on experience so nobody really has any basis to judge at this point. I hope we don't finish 5-7 but honestly I have no idea how we will play. I am hopeful that we have a good season and at least make a bowl, but won't be shocked if we don't. This really turned into a complete rebuild and with a first time head coach, first time DC, and lots of other first time parts....it is really a blind guess as to how we will do this year.

I don't have high expectations either. I had those last year before the season. So I'll just expect the worse and hope for the best.

Re: Preseason Projections
Agree that we don’t know what we have. Outside of the Swann kid, most of these guys haven’t seen the field at their previous school(s) to know if they are any good. And Swann isn’t a guaranteed QB1 for us. As such, I don’t know that its accurate to say that the talent looks good on paper.t4pizza wrote: ↑Tue Jun 10, 2025 9:21 amNobody knows anything about this team at this point. QB transfer from So. Miss/Clemson. Not sure about Clemson, however, there is game film of him at So. Miss.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 10, 2025 10:26 amAgree that we don’t know what we have. Re: Preseason Projections
Wiles will never be a starting QB by choice for us. I know you are holding onto that hope as a last ditch effort for the previous staff. He is pleased serving as a backup and enjoying that way of life.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 10, 2025 10:26 amAgree that we don’t know what we have. Re: Preseason Projections
Here you are once again trying to manufacture some sort of narrative in the hopes that you will draw some blood and then cry victim when you get put in your place.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 10, 2025 1:08 pmWiles will never be a starting QB by choice for us. I didn’t mention Wiles in any shape or form. Never said I think he will be QB1 and I certainly don’t look at him getting the starting nod as some form on vindication for the previous staff. I was referring to the current group of transfers coming in. Swann and Kohl are going to get preferential treatment over the other three simply because they are Louggains’ guys.
This is the type of behavior that got you booted from 24/7.

Re: Preseason Projections
Here you go again with your BS. “Preferential treatment”. They are getting the main reps because they have shown to be the best QBs on the roster relatively quickly.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 10, 2025 1:22 pmHere you are once again trying to manufacture some sort of narrative in the hopes that you will draw some blood and then cry victim when you get put in your place.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 10, 2025 1:08 pmWiles will never be a starting QB by choice for us. By the way, I can go back to 24/7 but I chose not to because David receives no info anymore. Waste of money.

Re: Preseason Projections
We likely would have been 5-7 anyways. Chadwells Liberty team would have ran all over Sloan & Co.
