Not mentioned in the news release is the buyout. Apparently it’s substantial, so much so that N.C. State is unlikely to bail out.

State's play will be to offer our best players nil in the off-season before this game to help their chances🤣

I know it’s a joke but if I was them I absolutely would do it, especially if we have a stud lineman or QB.

This will be exciting. Especially if we can be competitive and if maybe the purposed renovations to KBS are completed

While I like the idea of ACC schools coming to KBS I am not going to become all giddy and shickled titless just because NCSU is supposed to come up the mountain. We don't need to play any of the ACC blue bloods to validate our team and school but I do think playing them and keeping the money in North Carolina is a smart move, regardless of what their commish says.

All the UNC system schools should be playing each other on a regularly basis. It’s exciting for the people who foot the bill for the universities and good for the system because the money stays in the system. Our 3 game series with UNC was some of the best ball played in NC in years.

Agreed but our opinion doesn't matter...Only the TV execs opinions matter

Tariffs, high interests rates...not a good time to be expanding.
Hopefully we locked in a contract price on the indoor facility before pricing on steel increases.

2028 could really good timing for this game for us. If Loggains is what we want and hope, we could be back at our previous baseline, peaking at SB Conf championship level....and if Doren continues to fizzle out, State will be in year 1 or 2 of a rebuild, or if he's still be there, and they'll be his usual 7-5 +/- 1 game State

I hope they cancel so we can collect the $2.5M. That would do more for us than beating them 2 times in a row.

Yeah if they pay us we can rent a couple of ballers for a season.

2028 might give us time to get some stadium renovations in order. East side tower, possible SEZ seating. Those plans would have to basically be ready to break ground at the end of this season though. I'd still like to see the unique setup of grass hill down below, expandable permanent seating above.

My sister went to NC State and my son is going to go there (he will be there during the 2028 season). I've been a Wolfpack fan for all my life (until I went to App State and became a Mountaineer). As much as I like the Pack, we better pound them!!! Still will be a fun game for the family. Def excited for this one.
