Not sure how to feel about playing on national TV after our last few stinkers.
We will be competing with the NFL Nov. 7- Bengals at Ravens, a pretty big game.

We already laid one big huge egg on national TV at home this year. Hope we are up to the challenge and take advantage of the opportunity.

Not trying to be negative, but it is what it is. I can’t believe App vs CCU is the best ESPN could do. Maybe our ratings are that good.

App State is still a viable national brand. I doubt too many people across the nation realize how much we have declined recently though.

Living in Texas I can confirm our name recognition is very high.
Also we are in a down year...I'm not going to agree that our program has "declined"

Sure I'll accept that verbage.
We certainly are not the 2017/18/19 teams but we still are the standard of the conference in most metrics.
I believe we are in a valley for many reasons of our own making but I don't believe it's because of incompetence.

Well this is a Thursday game with the only other option on the schedule being Florida Atlantic @ EZU so I think ESPN made the right decision

I agree that the program has absolutely declined. We’re looking at a losing season this year, 2 seasons ago we were 6-6. Last year we started 3-4, we rallied but only got the division because JMU wasn’t eligible.
We haven’t won the conference for 5 years straight, unless we win this year.
I want us to be one of the top G5 programs in the country and we’re not even close.
Love this team but we’ve certainly declined.

Looking at Coastal stats we should be able to run and pass on their defense. Could be a shoot out. We can control the clock if we can sustain a run game. We shall see in a few days. Go App!

If you are planning to attend live, recommend getting to the entrance gate early. In 2022, we thought we were 30 to 40 minutes early... missed half of the 1st Q
