also I hope we make a change at S&C. I think everyone has noticed all year our guys look slow and unable to match the physicality of our opponents.

Not to mention our numerous season ending injuries.

I don't know the answer to this but, How many of our players have been with this S&C coach more than 1 year. I would think it would take 2 and maybe 3 years for the S&C coach to really show up on some of these guys. I don't know anything about this subject, so I am genuinely curious what others think. It seems it would take at least 2 years to turn a high school kid or transfer kid into an SBC offensive linemen or Defensive Linemen with enough strength to matter in the game.

If I recall my count earlier this season, 60% of our upper classmen… True Juniors through super-seniors… are Transfers in.

Very hard to have a “player-led” / “chip on your shoulder” program with numbers like that. I think this is similar to your point, how long does a S&C coach need to work with someone to get the most out of them?

You may be able to improve it; track & field athletes frequently do. But you cannot take someone who doesn’t have the innate ability to run fast and make them a high-level sprinter.

Only if we lose. If a game day experience like yesterday is delivered consistently, fans aren’t going anywhere.

And the students will still be there having a blast, as they always do

Of course a good bit of the game day experience was the WINNING over JMU.

Those upper classmen are all from the 2019 -2021 classes which took place during coaching changes and Covid. I hope we'll see more stability going forward, or at least as much as can be expected in the portal and unlimited transfer era.

Well of course not but you can get better. If you can't grasp angles I have no idea on earth how you got here. It is not rocket science. Maybe the position coach just does not know how to help.

Georgia Tech....running quarterback. This is the college offense we should be running. It is tough to stop. Too many options with easy passes that a 2nd or 3rd string quarterback should be able to complete. Athletes running all over.the place

Prime example of what good coaching will get you. He is running a system meant for him and they are getting the most out of him.
