This isn’t App state football! Goodnight

I hate to say it, but this has been my growing feeling for the last 6 months. I’m not sure we have the resources to compete, regardless of “culture”. We will likely often still be better than most, but we can’t pay to play, at least not like our peers (never mind the true “haves”).
Most of my friends think G5 will be gone or put into a different division. Just can’t compete with the big money if this keeps going as is.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2024 11:04 pmI hate to say it, but this has been my growing feeling for the last 6 months. My biggest fear is that college football, within a decade, will be so completely different from what it is now that I no longer find it enjoyable. I really don’t care about the NFL, and CFB is rapidly becoming NFL-lite. No thank you.
Agree with your friends. Many of us felt back in the 2000s that we needed to move up so we would be in tier 2 and it seems even more inevitable now.biggie wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2024 11:12 pmMost of my friends think G5 will be gone or put into a different division.
