He has always been friendly and gracious. I will be hard on him and say that his performance did not match his athletic potential , consistency speaking.Seemed a bit fragile. My opinion. I’ve heard second hand gruff regarding the locker room but have no idea if it’s true.

This is true. Every off-season some shit would come out about Cam being a cancer or Cam transferring or Cam being this or that. I’d imagine his stories will pertain to that.

Personally, I don’t blame him for that part but he’s kind of leaning into making them seem true depending on how he responds to this.

I don’t know why the Burger’s are upset though. Ryan got hurt, Joey came in and threw 40+ touchdowns by the end of the year and is App’s first legitimate NFL prospect at QB, maybe ever. So they can chill on whatever they are chirping about in the comments.

They (Ryan and his mom) commented on Cam’s initial post. Ryan’s mom said she’ll have her popcorn ready. As ericsaid said, no reason for them to be chirping. Joey was a record breaking QB. Glad they are gone if that was their attitude. Adds more fuel to the Liberty fire. I hope we kick their *** so hard, we have to ask God for forgiveness.

He's likely playing the same role there as would have here. Perhaps there was more to leaving than not wanting to be a backup.

For sure and I get his reason. He was hyped as a NFL prospect, NFL Combine invite, and Senior Bowl and he expected to be a mid round pick. I have mentioned several of the things on here and warned that he would not get drafted and would not make it. He got cut quick from the Elks for a reason. Go back and read my posts. I 100% believe my friends who told me what they did about Cam. It matches up when a player of his talent does not get drafted, can't even make a practice squad with Carolina, and is cut by the CFL. I wish he would mature and take responsibility but it appears he won't. He is definitely someone who needs some prayers.

I have a hard time believing any story he has too share would be to salacious about the locker room/staff. No matter what the chatter was around Peoples each offseason, he came back with his extra eligibility, and Noel did the same thing the very next year, apparently with a understanding with the coaching staff on carries. Honestly we’ve done better than 99% of G5s in keeping our talent home during portal season.

Does anyone really worry that Coach Clark is running a dirty program or did wrong by a player? Now a player can feel anyway he wants but that doesn’t make it true. For the record I always liked Cam and only saw positive things from him. That said this is just the truth, the young man got a shot at the NFL and the CFL. If playing pro ball was his goal I can’t see that he has much to complain about. He got his chance. I wish Cam nothing but the best.

I'm pretty damn close to several very popular players and their parents over the years and I've heard ZERO negative things about Clark or the program. Once they graduate, they can say what they want, but nothing has been said. Could be something going on, but I find it interesting that no player or parent has said anything negative. Just my opinion.

BTW, Peoples first video claims that at the Senior Bowl, he was asked "why were you a locker room cancer" by NFL scouts during interviews. He made it sound like this came from one coach/staffer in particular but didn't hint who it was.

As someone who isn’t close to the program but tries to pay as close attention as possible, I can’t say Cam made a positive impact on the locker room. There are a few that come to mind in recent years - Harrington (both the RB and LB), Aguilar, Murphy, Hennigan, J Thomas, Fehr, Vic, Moore, etc.. many come to mind actually. But Cam is never on my mind when that thought arrives. Just my 2 cents.

Shame that Cam will alienate himself from the fan base and school for a couple of quick views / short term engagement on social media.

There’s a reason a player of his caliber can’t make it in the CFL or make a practice squad. Great player, has the measurables. Something else must be holding him back. That’s all I will say.
