That makes the App ECU matchup so intriguing for ODU. ODU gets to see the toughest and easiest teams on their schedules match up against each other.

Missouri’s schedule is surprisingly soft, but they got rid of divisions in all power 4 conferences.

Mainly to avoid the chances of a mediocre team getting a bye in the playoffs,with an upset in a championship game (2023 Iowa or Oklahoma state could have won their Conference championship game and gotten a bye in current format)

So they eliminated the NC State type run in football (and that’s a bad thing)
