Just tried to sign on to ESPN3 to make sure everything was set up right for me to view it and turns out my internet service provider has dropped the access to it without letting us know.. AWESOME!

According to the Sun Belt website the times for Satt and Monken are:

* 1:30 p.m. – Appalachian State Media Availability - Head Coach Scott Satterfield
* 1:30 p.m. – Georgia Southern Media Availability - Head Coach Jeff Monken

I'm assuming that's Central since media day is in New Orleans. So 2:30 Eastern..not 3:30.

Benson on now. Mentioning that there's only 10 FBS conference so it's important to hold a media day that's on par with other conferences.

Mentioned the success of App and GSU and their addition next year. The home and home contests with the likes of Miami to Ark State.

Good stuff so far. Would never see this in the SoCon.

I have never had good video quality on espn3. Any easy ways to improve it.

Couldn't help but notice that the SunBelt event is being held in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans; while the SoCon Rouser (if they ever get one together and announce a date) will likely be held at the Holiday-Inn Express in Easley.

As of last night, the SoCon didn't have a 2013 football rouser listed on future events on SoConSports.com. The 2012 SoCon Rouser was held exactly one year ago today. Looks like Mr. Commish Iamamoron is a little behind schedule these days. Oops, I forgot, he lost half of his conference. He's still in a state of shock.

Yeah, it wasn't particularly informative as far as Satt's appearance was concerned (Michigan, the Move Up, Jamal, etc.), but it was still pretty dang awesome to be invited to the presser a year before joining the conference. The ESPN3 presentation was legit.

Anyone catch DJ's recap on appstatesports? Pretty good except for the annoying rap music in the background. I sure hope that was goof up.

Seeing the Superdome in the background during DJ's report was freakin' impressive (so much so that the rap music in the background didn't bother me one bit ). I also liked the SBC logo on the black background. I was a little lukewarm on it before, but it really popped on the black. Fellas, we've hit the big time.

Also, the SBC has our logo among its member institutions on the Sun Belt website.

Next week back to the SoCon. One week, the French Quarter; the next, a continental breakfast.

One more thing: Is anyone else adding 364 to the GAS Countdown each day?
