The amazing thing was that Joey threw the ball like it was a calm sunny day. No idea how he did that. Miamis QB had a hard time holding onto the ball. Does Aguilar have large hands? That could explain why he found it easier to hold onto the ball. Anyone know?
That's what she said..on the large hands 🤣🤣

First postseason win since 2020, feels good to end with a victory.

Might go practice my water slides like Joey Dimes here in Charleston. Little wet out! We’re going to need a bigger boat!

Great win, glad the boys got home safe.

Was at the game, just got showered and cleaned up. Haven’t read through all the comments, but there is no way to describe how hard it rained ALL game long. That being said, I’ve been to every bowl game except the Dollar General Bowl, and that was about as much fun as I’ve had a bowl game. Once you accepted the fact that you were going to be water-logged it was a blast. The guys left EVERYTHING on that field. What a battle! Joey, Anderson K-Rob, the Defense! So proud of this team and these coaches. Next year is going to be a movie…CANT WAIT!

I was incredibly pleased with the effort. Funny side note: A couple of the fumbles were because the water and turf created suction on the ball. It was like someone had a hand on the ball when the center was snapping.

You rarely see a stat showing the center with 2 fumbles and two carries.

Let 20 schools form their own semi pro league and let the other 110 play real college football with good conferences, nice regional rivalries and then an 8 team playoff.
This is exactly what I hope evolves.
If it does evolve this way I think the 20 “semi pro” teams are going to be very surprised by how many folks migrate over to watching and going to the regional games.
The top 20 may have the money but the fans will have some of the worst experiences they know. Most of the top 20 are used to winning...Half are not going to win. UNC fans will jump ship so fast. Many others will as well.

Alumni are not jumping ship to a new team. They may not be happy. It is not like Dook fans are going to start pulling for a State on a week in and week out basis.
In addition, P5 fans are not going migrate and start to attend and become avid fans of App. St. football as an example.
However, I do believe TV viewership is an open question to be determined. Network me are counting on the existing fans of whatever school will crave the new conference setups and playoffs...and evidently that more casual fans may get onboard. Time will tell.

That "suction" is surface tension. I suggest the center use Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate on his hands to break the surface tension of the water and allow the water to flow away off the ball. Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate has the benefit of not being greasy and easy to rinse off.

Is it legal?

I have no ideal. Is Stickum type products allowed? Because this is the opposite of that so it can't be banned for being overly sticky.
