what’s it going to take? His current valuation is around 550k. Can we pony up the cash? And does anyone know how we donate to the NIL collective? I found the website but can’t find an area where you can actually donate.

Take the on3 evaluations with a grain of salt and as to the NIL at APP I was told that unless I'm "donating" $10000 then don't worry about it. This has to with Name/image/likeness so we really can't donate technically

He played he way into "choices". Good for him and his family.

I don't see any way we can pay any one player $550K. Don't know where these numbers come from but if he wants to chase the dollars, we're probably going to lose him. Hope that doesn't happen but if it does then, GO BURGER!!!! Go McHugh!

If a P5 wants him, we can’t match an offer. Money doesn’t mean as much to some people though.

It's a crying shame that a conversation with a kid starts with ..." we can pay you x"

I just heard that JA and our Fresh DE #90 are getting money thrown at them..................

Is there any insight that says he is looking to leave, or is this just all speculation?

Personally, I think it would be a mistake to label any NIL on an individual player

This reminds me a lot of Zillow. My house is worth what someone will pay for it, not what some website says it's worth.

I dislike the NIL as written today.

10 years from now it may be difficult to continue to being a fan of a program outside the top 40. Or we could just fast forward and adopt the 1-AA moniker again.

Until then I'll enjoy weekend like the upcoming one, beat Troy.

I know we all dislike the state of things and it would be nearly impossible to ever compete, but it’s not a pipe dream to have enough reserves to make the decision much harder.

I heard thru a reliable source that JA and #90 DE are in the cross hairs of NIL money elsewhere.....

Very much so...It is what it is.

They will make a decision that's best for them and their family.

Truth is, it is not just Joey that we have to worry about. We have A LOT of young talent that is putting out top quality game tape. Our freshman Nate Johnson leads all FBS freshman in sacks, Spellman has blown up since we switched to the star defense and many others are doing well, not to mention our receivers and tight ends and backs. Considering how well Jalen McLeod has played for Auburn and our reputation as developing good players, I suspect we are going to have many guys that P5s make a run at. If it is about money, there is no way we can keep any of them. Sure Joey is the guy and everyone wants him to stay, but we need all these guys to stay if we want to make a big run next year. I am hoping this team realizes what a great opportunity next year presents for us and they all decided to keep the band together and make a playoff run. But I know that is being too optimistic, even for myself.

I’m not trying to be the message board sunshine police here but let’s not forget that these kids chose to come to App for reasons other than money from NIL. Yes, some may be swayed by someone offering a big bag of cash. But let’s not pretend that any of us wouldn’t be. We shall see how it plays out. If money is the catalyst to transfer, good for them. The portal is full of guys that have shown that it isn’t the case for them. I.e. Parker, Collins, Fletcher, et al.
