Congrats to Funderburk! Still amazed that Joey hasn't taken home a single weekly award despite leading the Sun Belt in TD passes with some big performances in big games. JMU's McCloud (who is having a good season) has won 3 of the past 4 weeks with our victory as the only week he didn't win. Oddly, Joey outplayed him in that game but didn't get the POW honors. Everyone really seems to be overlooking Joey this season.

Joey should win OPOY. Leading the conference in touchdowns, will be leading in yards, and will lead in QBR. May end up setting the conference mark for TD passes in a season if he can get 5 more over the next two games.

I agree he should be OPOY, but he should have also won at least one weekly award so who knows. No question he gets the Sun Belt Td passing record, might do it against Troy (although weather may be a hinderance).

McLeod has been the SBC OPOW three times and is only one TD behind Joey. So I don't think its a slam dunk for Joey.

He got a helmet sticker on "College Football Final". I think I would rather have that than a player of the week award from Sunbelt. He is deserving of a POW.

Difference is that Joey is, in many ways, carrying this offense. It's not a slam dunk but he will win an award, whether it's Player of the Year or Offensive Player of the Year.
