First odds I see

Troy -6.5
We are playing the best we have under Clark. I think the Vegas crowd has this line too high. Wouldn’t surprise me if we win outright.

Being at home, I’m not surprised it’s -6.5. Neutral would be -3.5.

Troy wants revenge because they feel they are better and got robbed by that miracle Hail Mary last year. We need to go out there and punch their teeth in. Leave no doubt in who the better team is.

Troy is 21-2 since the Hail Mary. Only two losses were at Kansas State and 16-14 to JMU earlier this year. They haven't lost to an SBC West team in two years under Sumrall.
Their defense is stout. Run defense isn't nearly as good as JMU, but still only giving up 100 yards a game on the ground. Pass defense is better than JMU's, though. Red zone defense is where they shine.
They're big, physical and make plays. They have fallen off their standard a bit in the last two weeks, but still ground out wins.

I keep it to the basics. Troy, Alabama is in the central time zone. Consider that in your arrival time to the stadium

A bookend win would look nice on the shelf. Hail Mary on one end and Championship win at their place on the other. Call it 21-4 then. With 2 losses to App State!
